Hello all,

Recently i've managed to get 2 VigorAP 800's that i can use at home.
The first one is set up as an AP with 2 subnets that is for private use but the second router i want to use on my second floor as a wireless extension
But i want to know if this is possible and how i am able to do this.
I haven't managed to get this working so far.

Here are the information pieces about the routers:

Router 1#

Lan-B ( This is it supposed to extend )
IP Adress: 10.1.0.83
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0

DHCP Server configuration enabled

Start IP Adress: 10.1.83.1
End IP Adress: 10.1.83.254
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0
Default gateway 10.1.255.254
Lease Time 86400
DNS Server 8.8.8.8

Security:

Mixed WPA+WPA2 PSK
TKIP/AES

My thought was that if router 1 gives adresses in a range from 10.1.83.1 ~ 10.1.83.254 router 2 should be within this range

Router 2#

Operation Mode: Universal Repeater

LAN-A

IP Adress: 10.1.83.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0

DHCP Server configuration disabled

W-LAN Enabled ( Mixed 11b+11g+11n)

Channel: Auto Select

Security:

Mixed WPA+WPA2 PSK
TKIP/AES

Universal Repeater Parameters:

SSID: SSID of LAN-B ( Router 1# )
MAC Address: MAC of Router 1#
Channel: Autoselect
Security: Selected from Router 1#
Encryption: AES


The LAN + WLAN works fine on Router 2# And i am receiving an IP but i don't get any internet connection, please help im stuck for days!
