Bridge or Repeater was created by tfgst
Hi all I am wondering of you can please help 8)

I have three 2800VG routers which have IP login's if 192.168.2.1 for router one, 192.168.2.2 for router two and finally 192.168.2.3 for router three. DHCP is only enabled on router one.

The distance between routers two and three is bordering on too far which of course means the signal strength is not good enough so I thought that I would try and get the previously redundant router two brought back into the equation.

The question is, what do I need to use; bridge or repeater? I am thinking that repeater might be the best option but am not sure.

If this is the case that I need to set up the system in repeater mode, could you please advise what MAC accress's I need to put into the relevant routers? I am thinking that for router two I need to put in the MAC of routers one and three?

Many thanks.
