Dear all

I've got a Vodafone K4511 dongle on contract which I proved yesterday as working fine on my pc. Internet ok.

I've plugged it into the 2820n and followed the set up instructions with the following parameters:

APN - internet
Username - web
Password - web

I'm getting a workable signal strength of about 40% but it won't connect.

I've tried the following Modem Dial Strings :

ATDT*99#
ATDT*9988816#
*99***16#
*99#

It's stuck on PPP Shutdown and when I press Dial nothing happens.

When I make any change it temporarily cuts of WAN 1 so it's not great for trying other things.

Anyone got one of these to work ?

Hi,

From Oficial DrayTek list, that 3G pen model doesnt seem to be supported : http://www.draytek.com/user/SupportFAQDetail.php?ID=1991

Although i can recommend you to confirm :

- disable PIN on your SIM card
- confirm whats the correct APN for Vodafone (its really "internet" ?)

In the end it worked fine. I had moved our main supply from WAN2 to WAN1 but had left the previous fixed IP address set so Vodafone could not assign one. Once removed it all worked fine and so I can confirm to any others that the K4511 does work with the 2820n.
