2800 series and ADSL2+ definitive statement

Hello,

I provide technical support remotely for my parents business. Their Draytek 2800 series has been rock solid. The local exchange has just been upgrade to ADSL2+ Annex M.
Current setting ADSL2+ Auto 992.5. Since the upgrade the connection drops very frequently and thus I cannot provide support.

I am seeing some posts saying ASDL2+ and the 2800 simply will not work. I have seen other saying use firmware e67361. I have seen the Draytek pages hinting that disabling wan detect via telnet is the way to go

Which is correct? As I have to take a visit to site to fix this, I need to know for sure!
Thanks,

-- Dano
