Bridging to a hotspot was created by twinsignals
Hi all,

First off I just about get by with networking, so please forgive me.

We are moving premises and bt have let us down on our fibre order, delaying it by a week and we are without broadband.

I have just purchased a new 2850n for our new office, and so today went and bought a vodafone 3G dongle so we can carry on working. Bt have said that we can use their open zone for our broadband access until they get our fibre on.

My question is, is there a way to connect to the open zone with the 2850n and then relay this connection to my LAN? Or is there a simple solution, like bridging my wireless and wired network on a standalone pc, and then connecting the Ethernet port of the pc to the 2850n.

I'm sure I'll get by on 3G but would rather use the free hotspot if at all possible? I'm thinking there must be a way, i just don't have the knowledge and maybe don't understand the terminology enough to get a result in google.

Regards

Rich
