WHAT DOES ELECTRICAL LENGTH MEAN was created by boe323
Hi, just switched over to vdsl, started of pretty bad, engineer just bodged me up good and proper, i should of had a new line from the pole to where ever i wanted my socket but, he used my existing extension wire and used 2 pairs, 1 pair for vdsl and the other pair to run back down the same extension back to wher the old master socket was and turned it into a phone extension, but the second signal travelling against the vdsl signal caused an unbalance and i started loosing speed rapidly, dropped all the way to 10meg from 51meg, disconnected extension, back to normal, i need to complain about the bad install, sorry for babbling on, so is electrical length the line attenuation?
