Vigor 2600 is it ADSL2+ compatible was created by p3asa
Searching the internet suggests the Vigor 2600 isn't ADSL2+ compatible however on Drayteks own www site it states it is.

http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/v2600_shooter.html

"Note : If your line is ADSL2 or ADSL2+, be sure to select the relevant mode in the Internet Access Setup page, otherwise the router will connect using regular ADSL only."

This is the only mention of ADSL2+ and the relevant mode it suggests changing isn't even in that drop down box!!

Any ideas?

I've got the 2600G and it's not ADSL2+ compatible, though our BT exchange is enabled. I decided not to bother upgrading and wait for fibre which worked out quite well as that was enabled shortly after.

There's no ADSL2 or ADSL2+ modes in the Internet Access Setup page on my 2.5.9_UK firmware.

Thanks for that.

I thought as much but found it strange why Draytek would say it was compatible on their www site. Shame really as the Vigor 2600G has been flawless. Oh well looks like it will live on as a switch.

Good luck with your fibre, wish it was up my way!!

Fibre's ok, I knew what I was getting when I ordered it - it's a bit of a distance to the cabinet so it's just 20 / 2 - but it's still triple what I had on ADSL.

2850vn doing ok but have noticed a few seemingly-random dropouts and I'm about to start posting in the many threads there appear to be about it. Grr... typical isn't it? 2600G was flawless here too, absolutely rock connection to Zen over something like 8 years.
