Hi

Model Name : Vigor2920n
Firmware Version : 3.3.7
Build Date/Time : Sep 20 2011 14:48:33

I have been struggling to get WOL working correctly with my 2920n. I was aiming for having port forwarding set up to allow me to turn it on remotely easily, but this didn't work. So I set up a VPN and tried using the WOL application, believing this would remove any potential problem points on other networks with the magic packet.

However I have had mixed results. From what I can tell WOL only works in a short period after the PC has shutdown. Reading on this specific issue it seems to suggest that most routers will clear the ARP cache, the solution being to Bind IP to MAC which I have been doing from the start.

I had never had a problem with waking this PC up when using A DLink DIR615 some time ago, I'm not sure where to turn / what the problem may be. All drivers have been updated on the PC, i just can't figure it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
