Hey,

I have a block of 8 routed IP's from my ISP and today I kind of needed to route this block of IP's to a second router. In theory it should have worked by adding a static route configured as so: (Assuming 10.0.0.0/29 was my routed IP block, and 192.168.11.1 was the other gateway)

Code:
ip route add 10.0.0.0 255.255.255.248 192.168.11.1 static

I'm fairly sure that if I had configured this on a Cisco router it would have worked?

Did I do something wrong or do static routes which interfere with WAN addresses not work?

Thanks

Aaron

Did you ever sort this?
Surely it would be difficult as the block you have would need to connect to the gateway from the ISP?

Nah, I didn't sadly. I'm pretty sure this is a bug. If I forward those addresses like I did, and then set the machine IP to one of those, it should have just worked, as DMZ does. Never mind...
