Looking for some advice on how to configure my Draytek 2800 to sit in fornt of an Edge Firewall.

I have a range of public addresses.

I plan to setup the router so that it's IP address is one of the public IP addresses and then configure the external NIC on the Edge Firewall (TMG 2010 Server) with another public IP in the range (also configure it's DG as the router IP). Effectively, taking NAT out of the equation on the router.

Does this sound about right? In effect bridging the connection rather than using NAT.

How do I achive this on my 2800?? As far as I could see there isn't a way of disabling NAT on the router but you can configure a second subnet (for IP routing), where you assign the public IP range and subnet. And rather NAT being disabled it is 'not used'. Am I right or is there another way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Steve

This looks like a pretty simple how-to guide for the 2800
