I noticed that firmware 337 is now available for the 2710. I have a Vn model and downloaded the update package, and applied the .all update version to my router (which was happily running 3361 firmware). The update appeared to "take", but on reboot it would not connect to my ISP (Plusnet). The Online Status page just sits there displaying a message that PPP is stopped. Clicking the start PPP button does nothing. I waited many minutes to see if it would connect, but no joy.

I have now reinstalled the 3361 firmware and the router connected straight away.

Any suggestions what might have caused this?

I don't know, but I only ever use the .rst firmwares, and reconfigure everything from scratch, otherwise wierd things can happen.
