2750 1.5.2 Firmware possible bricking. was created by stuart elliott
I just applied the 1.5.2 firmware for my 2750 from ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2750/Firmware/v1.5.2 and after it rebooted, it failed to come restart, leaving me to believe it is now bricked.

All lights EXCEPT the 4 LAN are on from outset, and doesn't change.

Any ideas or suggestions ?

OK, I think you may have bricked it however all is not lost. Download a fresh copy of the firmware and also a copy of Router Tools.

I wrote a post a while back that should help, it's for a different model but should be the same. Just remember to disable any firewall software you may have running before you run Router Tools.

Cheers for the help, I've reapplied 1.5.2 via Router Tools, and it behaves the same way, still unresponsive, so I am now in the process of attempting to roll back to 1.5.1,

*edit* which has applied successfully, so it appears there's something wrong with the 1.5.2 firmware on the ftp.draytek.com server.

Given that I know rolling back to 1.5.1 is working fine, I am now trying the 1.5.2 beta that is on ftp.draytek.pl 's site, to see how that behaves.

And that looks to have installed, as it gives me all the lights I'd expect, but I can't access 192.168.1.1, it's not issuing IP addresses via DHCP and Router Tools doesn't find it when searching, so back to 1.5.1 it seems.

A final 1.5.2 was published yesturday on that site. There's also a BETA. Further, there would appear to be an interim 1.5.1.2 not sure how well that may or may not take.
