I support a network which has two ADSL lines connected to a 2820 and a 2830 unit on the same LAN. The primary ADSL connected to the 2830 & a secondary (back-up) ADSL line connected to a separate 2820 unit which is on the same LAN. My client wants to increase his bandwidth by connecting the back-up ADSL to the secondary WAN port via a draytek 120 unit. I suspect that in order for the load balancing to work - that the primary and secondary(back-up) ADSL lines must be connected to the same router. Is it possible to have the primary ADSL connected to the 2820 unit & the secondary ADSL connected to the separate 2830 unit's secondary WAN port for load balancing? The reason for the query is that the back up ADSL line is in a remote location to the primary ADSL line.
