vigor2850vn on Xilo Broadband was created by joeypesci
I have a Vigor2800VG setup and working fine with my Xilo Broadband. But it's been disconnecting a lot recently when the phone rings. They keep saying the router isn't technically compatible with ADSL2 when their support was checking this site and forums. Yet Draytek support said to me this is wrong and it does support ADSL2.

Anyway. I decided to get a vigor2850vn the other day, as it supports IP6 and VDSL, I assumed it must be capable and have decent reliability for ADSL2. But despite setting the same settings as what the Vigor2800VG is setup with for a connection, the vigor2850vn refuses to connect as you can see from this image:

The Vigor2800VG connected fine:

Any ideas?

Stupid question, but you do have a dsl filter connected to ALL of your phone sockets or have one built into the actual phone sockets ?

I only say this because internet disconnects when the phone rings commonly happens when the dsl filter is either not installed or faulty.
