Hi,

We have a Vigor 2820 installed. When using the dataflow monitor, one user shows up in the list with the correct IP address but wrong name.

Example:
192.168.1.27_LeeRLaptop
found machine in question (due to high usage) and forced him to get a new IP
192.168.1.11_Factory1
In both instances, his computer name was/is "Design-Mac".

Just to give you an idea of how the network is set up:

1. DHCP is set via windows SBS server 2008

[list=2]

He is using a mac on Lion

[list=3]

There are no IP address reservations relating to either the IP or the computer names on the server

This is not causing problems (yet) but it is really annoying me!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you can simply rule out the router

I have enable mine at 2850n and yea an other to confirm, sometimes will appear with the named pc and sometimes will give just the ip info...no problems so far

What really gets me is that it is giving the PC a different name whenever I renew the IP. Again, its not a massive problem but it is really annoying me

What i have notice now i start using it is...when i set the 30sec for auto refresh then when i change page in my 2850 settings and go back to it i have to set up the page again at 30 sec

Aslo will be nice let us choice manualy how long (even permanent) will block users
