I'm trying to configure a Vigor 2820n (f/w: 3.3.73_232201) to enable Syslog Access Setup under 'System Maintenance >> SysLog / Mail Alert Setup'. Whenever I click 'enable' it and click ok, it just returns the screen with the option unchecked, and no error message.
I have a valid router name, IP address for the Syslog Server etc, but the 'enable' setting won't stick. I've used this option on multiple 2830's and on two 2820's.

Mail alert is enabled and working, and I have remote access to the router.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't enable this?

i dont know the reason(seems like bug) but it happens sometimes & with my 2920 did not let me use the back up wan 1 & 2 ticks and is happening now with my 2850 at system maintainance will not let me tick the default ports
Personal i have reload firmware in both case and did not work
Try an other web browser sometimes works or clear all cookies and history and try again

thanks babis3g. I gave that a try. I use IE9 and Chrome. It didn't work.
