2710 firmware v3.6.3 loopback broken. was created by bountybar
Just a heads up on the latest firmware for the 2710 series.

Upgraded to v3.6.3 last night and could not access my servers using thier external address ( nat loopback or I have seen it referred to as hairpin I think.) The server could still be seen from outside my network so it was only resolution from internal that was broken!

Installed v3.3.7 the next newest version this morning ( what happened to 3.4.x and 3.5.x?) and everything went back to normal.

I've sen many issues with 3.6x firmwares. Had installed on 2820, 2830, 2710 and had to revert all to previous versions because of issues. Seems there are a lot of bugs to sort before its a stable version.

Like you, I have upgraded to v3.6.3 (from v3.3.6.1) but I am now unable to login as user or admin. User mode gives message 'user mode is off now'. admin won't accept any combination of passwords/username, including blanks. Can anyone explain how I can gain access again, in order to revert to earlier firmware version? Thanks

andy try out 3.6.3.1 from the ftp.draytek.com site if you have local access to it, otherwise I have no idea why you'd be unable to login as admin unless you had some odd characters in the password? in that case reverting the firmware would help but you'll need to use the firmware upgrade utility and tftp mode to do that update
