Got the kids a new LG Smart TV over Xmas that includes the ability to stream on-line movies for instance from Acetrax http://www.acetrax.com .

TV is connected to directly BT Infinity connected Draytek 2750 via Ethernet and can log into my Acetrax account and play trailers etc on the TV, so internet connectivity is working.

However when attempting to purchase a movie, from Acetrax, kept on getting a "server error" and never got to actually to watching a movie. Power cycled TV, routers etc just in case but no go.

Switched back to BT modem and router and bingo, purchased movie rental, kids watched film all 100% fine.

Put 2750 back and unable to get past purchase rental ???

Any thoughts on 2750 settings that can be changed ? As a network specialist I suspect a VPN connection between the TV and movie server is failing, but am not sure how to log drop data on the 2750 (I have connected a USB stick to log to just in case).

Well it's not ISP specific so I don't think there'd be any weird setup needed - the router also doesn't mess with traffic much unless there's
some problem with DNS on it. I recommend putting up the MTU on the router since it defaults to 1442, the BT Infinity network can handle 1492 afaik.
That should be settable on the internet connection page.
Also make sure you're using the latest 1.5.2 firmware.

Beyond that I think you'd need to contact support.

Using V 1.5.2 already. My MTU is set to "Auto" which translates to 1442 according to telnet ifconfig.

Will try with 1492. Will try again this weekend, as it only appears to be an issue when you actually attempt to make a purchase.

Notice also there is a 1.5.3 beta version of the firmware as well.
