Unable to connect 2820Vn to O2 network after O2 upgarde

Helo,

I have a Vigor2820Vn which was working perfectly until recently. Since O2 upgraded their broadband I cannot connect to the network any longer.

I am given a static IP address but no gateway or subnet mask addresses. They advise that I should configure my router to obtain IP address automatically, which I have done; but no result.

I can connect to the network using the O2 provided router but it has limited features and is not very user friendly; it does not allow VPN connectivity, for example, which I need. Basically, it is no where near Vigor routers.

My router specification is:

Model Name : Vigor2820Vn
Firmware Version : 3.3.7.3_232201
Build Date/Time : Sep 13 2012 19:09:39
ADSL Firmware Version : 232201_A Hardware: Annex A

Please advise what I need to do to fix my problem. Thanks a lot.

You may need to wait few min till register again to O2 dslam or it may works with turning RIP protocol
