2820n ppp shutdown on BT. was created by dlogan83
Hi. I have a 2828n using a fixed IP address to connect to BT. It has the latest firmware. I have made no changes or upgrades in over 6months and now all I get is ppp shutdown on my wan1 connection status.

Has anyone has this problem or know I'd bt changing their connection settings

Thanks.

I had this too on my 2850n. Tried the original BT HH3 and openreach modem and it was working fine.

However I noticed the DNS servers had changed, so I duplicated them back on the Draytek and it works fine now - could have just been coincidence?!

Is there a way to let the Draytek get the DNS settings automatically? I'm sure when I left them blank I couldn't access the internet.
