How would you go about doing this on a 2850?
In the FAQ's, it shows it under LAN>General Setup
I can't see that on the 2850?
Anybody any ideas?

NAT is got its own section in foirmware 3.6.3 with submenus

NAT
Port Redirection
DMZ Host
Open Ports
Address Mapping
Port Triggering

Two ways to do it, one is to go to LAN - General Setup - IP Routed subnet Details Page and configure it there, that's the same as the method listed in the FAQ

The other is to set up a VLAN in routed mode (LAN2 for instance) which is better if you want DHCP on that subnet

Voodle's sound exactly what I'm after. I'm not going to get anywhere near this until next week now.

Voodle, any chance you can quickly explain on how to do this? The drayteks can seem a bit strange when you ain't used to them.

Here's how to set up regular IP routing - on your router, these settings are under LAN - General Setup - IP Routed Subnet - Details page but otherwise the same:

To set up the latter, configure the port based VLAN following this guide:

Set up LAN2 from LAN - General Setup - LAN2 Details Page. On there set it up like the IP routing guide at the top where the router has an address on the public subnet but in LAN2, that would then be the gateway for the client PCs and set it to be For Routing Usage. That should then route through to the WAN. You could potentially set everything to just go to LAN2 (on the VLAN page) once you've got LAN2 enabled

I tried the above and still can't get it to go.
I setup LAN 2 with 10.1.1.0/24 and my WAN had 10.1.1.1 with the gateway set at 10.1.1.1
My client that connected to LAN 2 got a DHCP lease as expected and the gateway was 10.1.1.1
However, those clients could not ping another site 10.1.2.1 whereas if I went from the routers diagnostics, the router could.
If I changed LAN2 to a different subnet and set it to NAT (instead of routing), the clients on the NAT'd LAN could ping the other site.
