I am looking at getting draytek 2850 and using a Apple AirPort Extreme for my wireless. I am not and IT professional so would like some advice

I use Macs and Apple products at home as for me they tick all the boxes of being simple to use and set up. So would like to use an AirPort Extreme and airport expresses to boost any dead stops in the house as my wireless network.

Will a 2850 work OK in this set up? I like the idea of being able to set up accounts for the different people in the house and restricting access to parts of the web. I have 2 small children and don't want them to stubble across anything inappropriate or down anything. But don't want to restrict everyone's access.
