Hello all,

I want to limit the time that my kids can make use of a computer (pc or apple). They can play an a computer for three hours a day in the weekend or in the holidays and one hour per day on normal schooldays. I'm not that good with the router, just a bit and always eager to learn new things...

I have 2 computers (win7 64), 1 laptop(xp 32), 2 ipods and 1 ipad. My network also has two mediaplayers (tvix- samba connection) and a VPN connection to a friend. My router is a Draytek 2920n. At first a thought to install software on each computer. But that meant that the kids can switch computer and double their computertime (kids....). When i posted my question elsewhere, i got directed to this forum. It seems that the Data filter could help me with this. Did anyone of you ever set this filter? And can this indeed be the solution?

I very much hope that one of you experts can help me out. I'm a bit lost in the forrest....
