Hi All

We have a Vigor 2820n router and we are replacing it with a 2830n router. Is there anyway to move the config across in an easy fashion? I've took a backup of the current working config onthe 2820 and tried to restore it to the 2830 but this has failed to work.

Do I have to transfer all the settings manually? Please tell me there's an easier way!

As far i know drayTek suggesting not even use old config with even same model but different software (older firmware) due to new added features or previous bugs can cost mismatching issue

The same was told to me by Draytek Tech Support so I've started copying across the config manually - will keep me occupied for a little while!
