Hi All,

We recently had some issues with our ISP that caused our email to be down for a whole business day. I have had a second link put in and would like to setup some resiliency.

Now I have updated our domains MX records so that
x.x.x.1 is 10 (original line)
x.x.x.2 is 20 (new line)

So effectively, if ISP 1 has issues again mail will be redirected inbound via ISP/Link 2.

I have opened ports 25 on both WAN1 and WAN2.

My question is regarding load-balancing essentially. If the incoming connection comes from WAN1, will the draytek always respond down WAN1? I wouldn't wan't the remote server to get confused if the wrong IP responds to it.

Thanks in advance.

when I've used dual WAN setups with these routers, they've always only responded on the WAN interface that the session came in on so I don't think that should be a problem :)
