Hi

I have just replaced the BT hub with a vigor 2830. After set up I have configured a server so we can reach this externally using a static ip.

After this I am having problems trying to view the router config page on 192.168.1.1

Any ideas?

Depending on the port you used for the server (80,443,21,22,23) you may need to alter the routers default management ports.

Unplug your server from the router and see if you can now login to the console. If you can then go to the System Maintenance tab and change the routers default ports. I normally use 8081, 8443,8021,8022 and 8023). Once you have changed it and rebooted router plug your server back in and check again.
