2860n+ Frequent Reboots on heavy WiFi traffic was created by tobythetenor
Hi,

I have a 2860n+ (v3.7.3), which has recetly started rebooting, but only when there is network usage.
It quite happily sits stable over a Saturday / Sunday, but as soon as usage picks up, it resets.
It seems this can be triggered at will by streaming music from a NAS; for a 24/96 ALAC file the router will last about 3 minutes before it dies.
While wireless is enabled, the traffic in question will only go through the wired ports.
Has anybody else seen that problem?

Hi babis3g,

Draytek have actually emailed me the latest 3.7.4 firmware version (not available for download yet), and the problem persists.
Will try with disabling UPNP now, this has been suggested in a few places.

you need t do clean istall or master reset the unit and set everything back from the begin manually
some others reported that firmware 3.7.2 was better with reboots

Disabling UPnP will stop the undesired reboots from happening.
It's not great not having UPnP, but it's a work-around I can live with at the moment.
Hope Draytek will fix this soon.

Thanks guys, turning off UPnP worked for me.
I thought it may have been the hot weather but this cured the rebooting straight off.
