We have a 2960 and want to set it up so that each of the LAN ports shares the internet connection, but are kept separate from each other. How do I configure the ports to do this?

Is the 2960 capable of using port based VLANs?

Yes 2860 can do port based vlans! Once you enable the VLAN option you can then configure either tagged or port based vlans. You don;t see any of that until you actually enable it though, can;t remember where off the top of my head.
