Internal Website Access via Vigor2830Vn was created by goldwynfox
Hi,

i have configured internet domain on Windows Small Business Server 2008. This domain uses https to connect from the outside world. I could connect to this internal website prior using normal internal website link https://remote.mydomain.co.uk, however, since i have installed Vigor2830Vn, the internal website link is landing on the login page of the Vigor2830Vn. Can anybody please advise what needs configuring on the Vigor2830Vn so that internet users can land directly on internal website link page instead of Vigor2830Vn login page.

Thanks

try System Maintenance >> Management >> Internet Access Control >> TICK Allow management from the Internet > HTTPS & whatever else option is necessary

it did not work as that option is used to access/manage router from the internet as per router manual. Plus why i receive error when i try to add port 443 using NAT>Open Ports section. Error: Your port configurations here have collided with the port configurations in the Management webpages? I am really stuck here, can you please help me.

hi,

problem has been solved but still i am confused with the reason. Actually what i did basically, in System Maintenance>Management, changed HTTPS port number from 443 to 44344 and also in SSL VPN setup.

The confusion is here that, how come HTTPS port defined in Management section differs from the one I manually added in NAT>Open Ports section?

Can anyone accepts the challenge to explain above?

Thanks

maybe because since the firmware 3.6.4 & above is this:
(link is from Draytek New Zealand because at the UK link needs registration to view it)
