I have a 2820 that has been working flawlessly over the past few years, but following some internet issues lately (not router related) I feel it's time to get a 3G in for backup.

I've seen the latest compatibility chart but am struggling to find any networks that offer compatible dongles anymore.

What do others do? Buy a dongle and mobile SIM separately? Any advice would be appreciated, both on model of dongle and networks that offer a no frills service purely to be used as a backup.
