I have LDAP connection working for PPTP VPN but SSL is not working, just get authentication failure. Would it be something to do with not having a certificate installed?

I don't own this model but at the latest firmware 1.0.8.2 i can see it has fix for PPTP, SSL, VPN ... not mention for certificate issue which you have at your other post and still persist 2 more issues

? VPN Trunk tunnel doesn't work well when the profile name is more than 15 characters.
? You need to disable "Force IPsec with L2TP" options for pure L2TP tunnel in VPN and
Remote Access >> PPP General Setup.

If you go for it you need to download it from the main Taiwan (check the released notes) & remember the *rst* file extension may need to use for a clean installation

if is a third part service verify that the account has the correct permissions to connect or maybe user credentials mismatch?
Hope some other user will help as i am not that familiar with vpn

Thanks for that but I have authentication working for PPTP users working OK just not SSL but would have assumed that it would use the same settings?

Do Draytek employees actually monitor these forums?
