Hi. Keep getting this message on syslog for Vigor 2960 "Find dnsmasq crash, do restart" Router has started locking up and needs to be switched off and back on before normal service returns. Any help appreciated.

I don't have this model but perhaps a dhcp or dns conflict?
There is a new firmware 1.0.8.2, if you try i will suggest the use of the *rst* file extension for a clean istall

Thanks for the info. The problem seems to have started since I updated the firmware week or so back. the router is dead now wont respond for more than few mins after restart.

you can try put back the old firmware (assuming was working better for you) via TFTP mode and the utiltiy tool
Here some instructions (for windows pc only, mac or linux not sure)
http://www.forum.draytek.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=19253&p=79577&hilit=utility+tool#p79577
but use the files for the 2960 which can be find here
ftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2960/Firmware/

If previous firmware is not option for you due to bugs or other problems, try the support if they have any beta by now
