Hi All,

Just setting up a new 2860n (fw 3.7.4.2) for a small business.
Before taking out onsite to the client I wanted to disable the built-in DHCP server as we will be using their Windows Server's DHCP server.

The Draytek gives me this erorr "Disable LAN & Enable LAN shouldn't be in the same subnet".

I'm really stuck as to what this is.
I've setup over half a dozen Draytek's before but never seen this message.

I have configured the built-in PPTP VPN server but that's it. Everything else is out of the box.

Really stumped.

It's because the LAN IP range is the same as one of the other LAN2-LAN6 subnets. This wasn't an issue with previous firmware but new firmware has validation to stop it for some reason. If you want to disable DHCP for LAN1 without changing anything else, enter "srv dhcp off" in the telnet interface to disable DHCP for LAN1.
