Vigor 3900 QOS with SDSL WAN 5Mb was created by lt3110
Hi,

I try to understand how to use QOS on my Vigor 3900 with the 1.8.2 firmware.
My SDLS WAN is 5Mb in and out so I put 5120 KB in the Bandwidth field.
I want to reserve 1024 KB for SIP with the HIGH priority and 4096 KB for the rest of the traffic.
It is said in the documentation : High/Medium/ Normal/Low : Type the weight of queues in bytes, range from 0 to 1000000.
Unfortunately when I try to enter a number upper than 1000 in one of the priority field I get a warning message saying Number in the range 1-1000!
Also I cannot put 0 in the medium or low fields. The only way I found was to check the MB checkbox (to put in MegaBytes) and to put 1 in High, Medium and Low fields and 2 for Normal.
But, as I dont use the medium and low, I lose 2 Mb which will never be used.

Do you think there is another workaround ?
It seems the way to parameter the QOS in 1.8.2 firmware have changed and maybe it has not been enough tested.
