Telnet Uptime was created by flintham
Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help? I'm trying to find a way of getting the routers uptime information from a Telnet command. The 'wan status' command returns the uptime of the wan connection but I am trying to display the uptime of the device as displayed at the top of the web interface? Is there a hidden command I'm missing?

The router in question is a 2820vn but I know the majority of telnet commands are shared by many of the routers, although not quite sure about the newer 283n, 285n, and 286n, etc.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can suggest how to get uptime from telnet command.

the commands are slightly different especially with the 2860 series
try the ones below if they will help you (for lan)

show lan
show status
show clienttraffic
show adsl

You can also type ... show ? and should display all available commands in that section ... you can also try lan ? but in my 2830 is not existing such lan command
