3200 WAN Ports Configuration Question was created by ridemeve
Hi All,

I have purchased a Draytek 3200 to use for routing a wide area radio network, can you please assist with some answers to below. The manufacturer of the equipment has specified that all sites need to be on a separate subnets (cant operate on 1 LAN).

I am sure this is a very simple configuration that is required, but would just like to confirm this will work OK as I don't have a great deal of experience with IP networking.

I have 3 sites (1,2,3) addresses as follows;

1 - 192.168.1.x (WAN1) - Main Site
2 - 192.168.2.x (WAN2) - Remote Site
3 - 192.168.3.x (WAN3) - Remote Site

Will these ports automatically route traffic between them or is there configuration required? Any information would be appreciated.

I'll admit I'm confused.

Why would you go for a 3200 which has 4 WAN ports when, on my understanding, you actually need 4 LAN ports?

If i understand correct you mean there are 3 internet connections to laod balance?
If yes the 3900 should auto load balance the 3 lines unless you set any special rules
