Content filtering from access point? was created by alanramsay
Hi there,

Looking for some advice really. I mainly use Draytek products for clients so would like to continue this.

I have a client who runs a youth drop in centre. They are looking to buy 8 tablets and for me to provide a wireless access point in the building which has content filtering to restrict the content that can be viewed! They have an Internet connection already in their office (BT Hub) so I was looking to utilise this by running a LAN cable between this and the and run a cable to the new access point.

Is there anything in the Draytek range that you could recommend that would be suitable to do this? I'm familiar with content filtering in Draytek routers but not access points only.

Thanks for any help

Alan

Hi - the access points will not do filtering.
Ideally you want a 2860 or similar with filtering set up and apply that to the IP address or MAC or the tablets.
