Looking at the supported list:

It would appear that the VODAFONE K5008 USB dongle is supported on the Draytek 2925, however I've configured the WAN3 port to use the same properties as I used with my laptop using the 3G/4G card to no avail.

Using GiffGaff on a PC the settings are simple:

APN: giffgaff.com
PPP Auth: CHAP
PPP User: giffgaff
PPP Password: <BLANK>
Modem Dial: *99#

This works fine on the PC using the vodafone software, but when I translate this to the Draytek I cannot get an connection.

Does anyone know a way to debug this as the logs are showing nothing helpful.

Nope, sorry tried with support a few things but it was easier to swap it with another dongle:
