Static route using LAN0 and not LAN1 was created by jimster
Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help with this issue. I need to create a static route on a Draytek 2925, the settings I've done are
Destination IP Address: 192.168.52.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP address 192.168.1.75
Network interface: LAN1

I assumed this would work but a tracert from any workstation shows draytek trying to route over the internet. I then looked at the routing table on the draytek and see this:

S~ 192.168.52.0/ 255.255.255.0 via 192.168.1.78 LAN0

Why is it routing over LAN0 and not LAN1??

I have tried to recreate the static route but it's still the same.

Any ideas??

are both networks on the 2925 as the default gateway?
If so you don't need static routes are the router is already aware of the networks. just end ale the inter Vlan routing or have I missed something?

the devices on the 192.168.52.0 network have a default gateway of their firewall 192.168.52.78, that firewall then has it's own default gateway which is the draytek ip 192.168.1.1

Where to I enable inter VLAN routeing?
