2860 remote access issue was created by agd123
Hi,

just setup a 2860 and enabled remote management via HTTP, port 8099. When I browse to http://wan.ip.address:8099/ I get the login page okay but when I enter the admin credentials, the webpage just refreshes and I'm back to the blank credential fields. yet when I login from the LAN with exactly the same credentials, I am able to login fine... Anybody else expericenced this before or know what the problem may be?

Cheers

Have you tried with another browser or any other device?

If the default port (80) is working ok ... perhaps a conflict with NAT or any other port,
http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=5358&Itemid=293&lang=en
perhaps firmware issue, 3.7.4.3 is the latest if you will give a go
Other i can think (but not sure) at System Maintenance >> Administrator Password Setup maybe something changed there?

D'Oh! Schoolboy error.... At System Maintenance >> Administrator Password.... the 'enable admin login from WAN' box was not checked. Thankfully wasn't me who set it up... Cheers for your help! :D
