Draytek slow was created by pete_pt
Hi,

I'm having the following problem with my draytek. My draytek is very slow, the only thing slow about him is when i'm in the administration page, sometimes when i choose an option it opens instantly sometimes, it takes a long time to open and even sometimes the connection expires and i have to click in the option again.
I tried changing the cable, changing the port of the cable in the switch ( i have the connection to the switch in the gigabit port of the router), enabling/disabling the proxy, i even tried changing to another backup draytek router with the same configuration and problem still continues.
So long story short, i think my problem is in the configuration but i don't know where :?:
My draytek is a Vigor2820Vn with firmware 3.3.7.5 and ADSL firmware 211011_A Hardware: Annex A.
Help!
Thanks.

There is a case to try & with another PSU (same Amber & Volt) ... the current one may be old if you have the vigor many years

If the PSU is fine then... Have you updated the firmware correctly?

******************************************************************************
Release Notes for Vigor2820 series

Firmware Version : 3.3.7.5 (Release)
Release Date : 7th July 2014
Build Date : 19th June 2014
Applicable Models : Vigor2820, Vigor2820n, Vigor2820Vn, Vigor2820Vsn
ADSL Modem Code : 232201
Locale : UK Only / Annex A Only (inc UK Annex M)

******************************************************************************
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not upgrade directly from 3.3.5 (and earlier) to 3.3.7.5.
Due to differences in the Web UI and functionality the router MUST first be
upgraded to 3.3.5.2 prior to upgrading to 3.3.7.5.

Upgrade your router to Version 3.3.5.2 first, and afterward upgrade the router
to Version 3.3.7.5.

As you see due to differences in the UI should use the *rst* file extensions as well (is resetting everything) and i would not recommend any back up file, everything manually from the begin
