Hi there,

Any help would be appreciated. If there's a fix that'd be great, but I think my poor 2820vn has kicked the bucket.

It refuses to boot. It starts up, flashes the ethernet port lights, then 8 of the 9 the status lights flash on with the middle one turned off.

Any ideas if this can be rescued? Or is it pushing up the daisies?

Try a reflash here how & use the *rst* file & the correct order steps
http://www.forum.draytek.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=18763#p77799

I would also advise (if you did not already, before the lights flashing) to update via the utility tool & the correct order ... first to 3.3.5.2 & then to 3.3.7.5

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not upgrade directly from 3.3.5 (and earlier) to 3.3.7.5.
Due to differences in the Web UI and functionality the router MUST first be
upgraded to 3.3.5.2 prior to upgrading to 3.3.7.5.

Upgrade your router to Version 3.3.5.2 first, and afterward upgrade the router
to Version 3.3.7.5.

Thanks babis3g I managed to get it reflashed! Although I found that I had to keep my trusty paperclip holding down the factory reset button during the flashing, as otherwise it just clicked and rebooted again <sigh>

But! It's back from the dead! :D

Many thanks, and ALL HAIL THE DRAYTEK UK USER FORUM!!
