2820 DHCP router was created by roundst
Hi All,

I have a draytek 2820 which is acting as a router to a large site.

We have just changed the LAN IP to 192.168.43.254, netmask 255.255.252.0

This should mean we can assign IP addresses in the range 192.168.40.1 - 192.168.43.253

However, the DHCP Server config will only allow 250 IP addresses (in 192.168.40.*, 41.*, 42.* or 43.* )

Is there anyway to increas the number of IP addresses available, to span across the range?

Thanks

Chris

You could always set up an external DHCP server. I mean, I'd be pretty surprised if you didn't already have a server if you have more than 250 devices on your network.
