Load Balancing was created by bengillam
Hi There,

We have a Draytek 3200 Router with 4x Draytek 120 Modems running 4xADSL2 lines, all around the 11mb down 1mb up. Its a shared office so not able to get faster bandwidth and as such we went with load balancing across as many ADSL lines as we could.

For the most part this seems to work quite well however we use a fair amount of voip with our own internal asterisk server. Each new call should be its own connection however when we look at the data flow on the router, pretty much all the traffic from our asterisk server seems to get pumped down 1 line at a time and not spread. So some days it might be WAN1 sometimes WAN4 etc etc. Im wondering if there is some kind of option I am missing or can the router only handle one client to one line?

Maybe I just have an erroneous understanding of load balancing; but wanted to make sure I wasnt doing something silly.

Thanks

Ben
