Vigor 130 with Sky ADSL was created by huwjdp
I have just purchased a Vigor 130 to use in place of the Sky hub, which cannot be used in bridge mode - I want to use my tried and tested Apple Airport devices for routing. The instructions say that it is configured for most British ISPs, but not for Sky/ old Be and o2 adsl broadband.
Can anyone help with what needs to be changed to get it to work with the Sky provision.

I have been given the following settings by Sky:
Encapsulation: PPPoA
Username: install@o2broadband.co.uk
Password: install
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
Multiplexing: VC-BASED
MTU: 1500

I understand that username and password details are entered at the router stage, and the others seem to be part of the configuration of the Vigor, but on the Vigor it seems that the maximum setting for MTU is 1492.

Is this a problem, or should I be looking for something else?
