Draytek 2850n (Sky Fiber) was created by galmax77
So I got some help with setting up my old 2820n (thx guys ) but I decided to upgrade an found a 2850n vdsl which I have now brought an connected to my sky fiber using the setup guide found on the Draytek homepage.
My problem is when I first set it up the vdsl download speed was only 17000kbps but my sky-hub gives me 20000mbs to 25000kbps but now its down to 16500kbps on the 2850n
If I connect the sky-Hub it connects back at 20 to 25 an 5 upload.. the upload on both routers is fine as the 2850 gets just under 5000kbps upload.
Any ideas or best firmware modem versions to use I have tried a couple but nothing has changed.
As I said before I have used the Draytek Homepage setup guide.
VDSL Information (VDSL Firmware Version: 1414c3 )
Profile State UP Speed Down Speed SNR Upstream SNR Downstream
17a Showtime 4859 (Kbps) 16489 (Kbps) 70 (0.1dB) 105 (0.1dB)
Server Information (Broadcom v10.09.12 )

Hi
I found my 2850 to be really unstable when connected directly to my line. Speed were unstable, and kept going down and down. I found the router better if i connected it via my btopenreach modem. The 2850 also doesn't support vectoring and G.INP. You may want to take advantage of the following offer:http://www.draytek.co.uk/upgrade . I now have my 2860 connected directly and its working absolutely fine.
