Have you tried fixing the DSL type to VDSL only ?
The 2860 reboots when switching between the ADSL/VDSL so if for any reason it thinks the connection type has changed it may cause this.
Also do you have USB syslog enabled, the disk filling up can also cause reboots.

I'm glad to say that fixing the router on VSDL as e.ringrose suggested apparently solved the problem. Since then I've had >400 hours uptime. I have now upgraded to v2860_3842_BT.
