Hi.
I have been collecting stats from my router for a long time using SNMP, but the traffic graph I created only seemed to work intermittently. I finally decided to find out why.
My VDSL interface is ifIndex 4, so I am getting the interface usage information from the OIDs IF-MIB::ifOutOctets.4 and IF-MIB::ifInOctets.4.

If I do a few IPv4 speed tests I can see the values increase, but if I do IPv6 speed tests there are no changes to the values. So it looks like somehow the IPv6 data on the VDSL interface is bypassing the stats.

Am I meant to collect the IPv6 traffic stats from somewhere else? I thought since it was the counters for the actual interface it would include all data no matter which protocol.
