If you are referring to the 2763 series, DrayTek confirmed there is no RC firmware. They are currently testing the issue I raised regarding the 'hidden' mesh backhaul.

No Larky, I was replying (I thought) about 4.4.5 on 2865ax routers.
We and a client (theres is new 5days ago)have these and they have been dropping connection more or less houry using 4.4.5.2 we have just obtained 4.4.5.3_RC1_BT and applied
So here goes..
We haven't noticed and Wireguard issues but only started rolling it out

Ah, apologies. I shouldn't have cross posted initially. For any 2763 users reading this, I'll start a new thread once I hear back from DrayTek support.

I see this too on my 2865ac. I suspect it's a backhaul Network for Mesh nodes. I have exactly the same thing on my TPLink based Mesh WiFi LAN and they use hidden networks for its backhaul between nodes.

EDIT: I just upgraded my 2865 to 4.4.5.3RC2a and can confirm the hidden networks are gone.

You say 4.4.5.3RC2a

Draytek Tech sent us
4.4.5.3RC1_BT
This made no appreciable difference

We then reverted the customer to 4.4.5.2 still going down

We have this morning put the previous Router our clients had (2860ac) back in at their premises, that had been working for the last couple of months so this might just keep us and Draytek a customer ! BUT does NOT solve the problem
We still have the RC1 on our own router and we have havoc with for instance - no outgoing phone calls yesterday afternoon, and two drops overnight.

Another thought that we have had is we have recently deployed WireGuard on both these routers and the last incident at our clients happened just as we tried to connect with wireguard??
Is this just a coincidence?
And pharcyder how confident are you that it is the RC2  that has cracked it as opposed to the RC1 (whichwe obtained - with some reluctance!)

Confident about what? I don't know what problems you are seeing.

4.4.5.3_RC2a_STD resolved the issues I saw with hidden SSIDs.
