Bought the Draytek 2962 to replace the existing 2960. If it is possible to migrate the config from 2960 to 2962 using the simple config backup? If not any possible method or I have to setup from scratch ?

If it’s a new out-of-the-box unit, why not just try to restore the config that you backed up from the 2960, and see what gets restored. You can always make a backup of the new one’s current config before restoring the old config onto it.

You could do this as a bench test too, without actually hooking it up to the network. If it doesn’t like the config, then yes, you would need to start from scratch or beg DrayTek support to migrate the config for you, manually; they have done this for us in the past before, and others too I think, but I doubt they like having to do it.
